HOW IT WORKS
Video instructions of assembly and hunting out of the Blind Ambition Bale Blind (29min).
WINDOWS
There are six sliding window curtains provided for the blind. These attach to the fencing on the inside of the blind They are made to cover windows that are 12" wide by 16" tall. You should install the windows as shown on the instructional DVD in the locations that you choose. We usually put one window in the door, one window in the closed end of the blind, and four windows in the cylinder.
The height of the windows depends on the hunter and the choice of shooting chair. We put the top of our windows at 50" off the ground. Just be sure to check the height with your shooting chair and your bow before cutting the openings.
STAKING YOUR BLIND
You will need to stake your blind or it will blow away. We don't provide stakes as the type and length of stake depends on the soil conditions. There are 4 5/8 holes in the bottom frame for staking. In soft or tilled ground, spiral dog tie-out stakes work well. In hard or gravel type ground use 1/2" rebar stakes about 16" long. These can be driven in and fastened to the frame. Cinder blocks tied to the bottom frame will work as well and are easier to remove once the ground is frozen.
